In a Pyrric victory against Faust, Ezekiel has barely made it out of his lair alive.
Most of the people she loves are dead, her House has been rendered barren, and she has returned to Koa to find most of the soldiers and comrades murdered, due to one of Faust’s moles… one she’d failed to see the entire time. In a brilliant gambit by Faust, he has conquered, and the Koan war against the Orders has been lost.
Still, the House of Death has yet to be claimed, and it is the last bastion of hope for a dying nation.
