Whew! So we just got off the Butler-Banks Black Sci-Fi Book Tour, so it was a whirlwind two weeks! Hope many of the featured titles piqued your interest! Book Page Reveal!

I wanted to give you guys a more specific update regarding my novel and novel series’ projects. As many of you might have already seen, I’ve updated my website a bit, tweaking the HOMEPAGE and adding a BOOKS page, which is going to be a new landing point for readers.

I not only lay out the series I’ve published, but I’ve also done a silent “project reveal” where I’ve listed all my series that are in progress / under construction. As you can see I have A LOT of material in development (ack!), and I’ll soon be adding WAY more information for each book and series, including writing progress bars, series descriptions, book blurbs, AND book cover reveals!

Why the project reveal?

Well, I’ve just been really inspired by awesome and very successful authors in my genre like SM Reine and Morgan Rice, who have INCREDIBLE back lists and wonderful careers as writers of sci-fi, urban fantasy, and paranormal fiction!

These women are writing and publishing beasts (can you say 2000-10000 words per day?), fantastic female business role models, and also amazing writers! Check out Morgan Rice’s Sorcerer’s Ring Series, and SM Reine’s Descent Series & Ascension Series! BAD ASS STUFF!

BY THE WAY, SM Reine and Morgan Rice have BOTH published 26 novels and counting (and appear in multiple languages)!

So of course, I want to aspire to their greatness as an emerging writer and indie publisher. (I’d also love to feature their book series’ on the blog, and I’ll definitely try to do that before the year is out!)

Having said all of that, I decided to finally lift the veil on all of the projects I’m working on not only to provide goal posts for my writing and publishing, but also to publicly map out my career for the next five to ten years. This will also be a reference for you, reader, who might be interested in what’s coming next out of Colby’s Cove!

2014 PROJECT REVEAL!

So, what’s coming up for the rest of 2014? Well… I’ll start off with one post and update you guys weekly on what I’m working on for this year, starting with…

The Final Page: The Second Book of Ezekiel + Ghosts of Koa: The First Book of Ezekiel AUDIOBOOK!

So ever since the debut of “Ghosts of Koa: The First Book of Ezekiel”, readers have been asking me when the second novel will be coming out. Welp, it’s on its way, folks! THIS DECEMBER 2014, I will release “The Final Page: The Second Book of Ezekiel”, and trust, it’s a WAY wilder ride than the first book. So I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Also, the AUDIOBOOK VERSION of “Ghosts of Koa: The First Book of Ezekiel” will be released sometime this late June / early July 2014 for your listening pleasure, and I’m also working up some giveaways for that!

At this point, because The Books of Ezekiel is my flagship urban fantasy-dystopian sci fi series (each book is at least 450 pages or more), it gets a LOT of special treatment and has a slightly longer release schedule than other books I’m working on. As it stands now, each book will be released each December with an accompanying audiobook released the following June.

But that’s not all I’m working on!
